    Description

    White NOMEX High-Heat & High-Temp felt gaskets are made of Meta-Aramid Felt or NOMEX (Dupont Brand Name).  The same material used for Fire Fighters Suits, Race Car Driver flame resistant clothing and many usesapplications for the NASA Space Program.  While you can find the same material at much higher prices we are offering this Meta-Aramid Gasket at a very reasonable price.  This is the standard size 7/8 width and 1/8 thick in 13 foot 8 inch length!  Enough
    gasket to re-felt the lid and base.  Restore your original air tight seal with a gasket that will out-perform the original wool based gasket.  Easy to install with self-adhesive backing (no glue or adhesive spray needed).  Simply remove the old gasket and clean with light scrubbing and/or Acetone or Rubbing Alcohol.  Then gently remove the Peel & Stick backing as you firmly affix your new gasket in place!
