Description
This is the only kit on the market that has the correct orifice sizes to support the low heat function on the side plate burnerFactory instructions included. The Weber Summit Grille Center has 8 burner tubes on the inside of the unit [six are the main burner elements, one is a Sear Station burner element (tightly sandwiched between two of the main burner elements), and the other is for the Smoker Box]. In addition to those burners, the Weber Summit Grille Center model has a side stove style plate burner with a double burner (it uses two orifices), along with an infrared (rotisserie) burner at the back of the unit under the hood.
These brass orifices are a replacement for grilles that use male threaded orifices. The size of the threads of largest side burner orifices is .340 inch, the size of the middle sized orifice is 5.92 mm outside thread measurement as shown (standard equivalent of 0.233 inch or nearly 1/4 inch) at the outside of the threads, while the size of the 8 smaller ones is 4.90 mm outside thread measurement as shown (standard equivalent of 0.193 inch or nearly 3/16 inch) to fit the inside grilling elements. The size of the largest two orifices fit the (stove style) side burner, the mid sized orifice fits the rotisserie burner, and the smaller orifices fit the main barbeque burners and the burner for the smoker unit. Make sure to measure your orifices carefully before ordering. Many bar-b-ques use these types of orifices and they might retrofit a number of other brands.
This set includes 11 orifices for a grille with up to 6 main burners, a sear station burner, a smoker burner, a double burner style stove type burner on the side deck (2 orifices), and an infrared (rotisserie) burner at the back of the unit. It is necessary to swap the regulator as part of the conversion. A boring chart is included. Other manual adjustments might be necessary, so check your factory instruction manual details. FOB origin.
The Weber Summit Grille Center comes in two finishes; a stainless steel finish or an enamel finish. The enamel version looks like this:
