Vintage Chinoiserie (Chinese) Black Lacquer Bar Cabinet

Description

Very collectible mid 20th century Chinoiserie black lacquer bar, decorated with mother of pearl inlay figures against a hand painted landscape. 2 leaves fold open to each side and a mirrored drop front bar folds down. Beautiful detail within, with ample storage space. On 4 raised and painted feet.
Side panels open to 5 shelves and 2 hidden “shoulder” doors for hanging stemmed glassware. 2 bottom cabinet doors open for more storage, with a built in sliding tray for bottles.
40” tall, 34” wide (side panels closed), 20” deep.
Note this bar is missing the very top piece that would have covered the 2 leaves that fold out. (If you didn’t know it was supposed to be there you probably won't notice its absence.) Otherwise it’s in very good condition, no chips or missing inlay pieces, very minor scuffing around the feet, and a slight scratch on the top.
A fun and eye catching decorative piece that’s also useful.
