Here we have an interesting antique cabinet of Chinese origin. The statements on the face of the cabinet are business and democracy oriented. Translations from a Chinese speaker are as follows:
一本万利： small investment brings thousands profits
改善民主： improving democracy
发展商业： developing commerce
繁荣市面：prosper the market
稳定物价： stabilize commodity prices
Each side of the cabinet features two slots likely intended for straps (straps not included). The backside features metal rings that would allow for the cabinet to be hung off a wall.
Note the unique hardware used on the door latch and the drawer pulls.
Just the subject matter of the text is interesting enough, but the unique hanging style of the cabinet and a seemingly rather old age make this an intriguing functional decor piece.
