    Description

    High-Heat & High-Temp felt gaskets are made of Meta-Aramid Felt or NOMEX (Dupont Brand Name).  The same material used for Fire Fighters Suits, Race Car Driver flame resistant clothing and many uses & applications for the NASA Space Program.  While you can find the same material at much higher prices we are offering this Meta-Aramid Gasket at a very low price.  This is the standard size for use with your Big Green Egg size XL (13 feet 11 inches).
    Includes 13 feet 11 inches of gasket, enough to re-felt the lid, base and chimney.  Now includes three Acetone Packets to easily clean old gasket residue or grease off your BGE before adding the new nomex.  Restore your original air tight seal with a gasket that will out-perform the original wool based gasket and hold-up (not melt) at much higher Temps.  If you are cooking Pizzas or other high-temp cooks this is what you need!
    Easy to install with self-adhesive backing (no glue or adhesive spray needed).  Simply remove the old gasket and clean with light scrubbing and/or the Acetone Packets included.
