    Description

Large rare original antique print from an 1890s illustrated journal.
It depicts a mastiff named Lion (owned by Miss Hale from America) and his friend the black-and-tan terrier. Both are listed as American champions. The Black and tan (now extinct) was the foundation breed for the modern Patterdale Terrier.
The print is very large (folio size), measuring approximately 10 x 14.25 inches (25.5 x 36 cm). The picture fills most of it, with a caption below it.
The page is in excellent condition for its age.
There is text/photos on the back of the print.
See scan for an accurate view of the condition.
This is GENUINE antique/vintage item. It is not a modern reproduction.
