Chinese Black Lacquer Bar Cabinet Sideboard Birds and Lilypads Vintage Buffett

I purchased this item new in the 1980's in Pasadena California in Asian independant furniture store.
First thing I did was get a 1/4" custom cut glass to protect the top artwork and it is in excellent condition.
The rest is dusty and most of the marks in the photos will come off.
The glass top needs cleaning and has smuges on it. There are some paint chips but does not take away from the look of the artwork. You might be able to see a few on the left drawer. I have not seen another piece with the artwork in such detail. I have seen one online and the artwork look no way close to this.
Beautiful birds and lilypads this piece could be used as a bar or a side table or divider between two rooms since there is a beautiful reed design on the back. Just a solid piece.
It is made of solid wood including the drawers drawer bottoms and when you take out the drawers there is a solid wood panel separating the upper drawers to the lower cabinet.
There are no cracks, warping or water damage. Drawers are smooth. Brass hinges and handles.
There are two top full depth drawers and below that is two cabinet doors that open up to a lower pull out drawer that you can use as a bottle holder or put a solid thin board and use it as a shelf.
The inside cabinet lower drawer pulls out as a large drawer with bottle cutout inserts.
Cabinet drawer is fully removable.
Both sides end caps open up 180 degrees and both sides has shelves to hang glasses.
This cabinet has never been restored or touched up. I only used the top two drawers. Never used it as a bar.
Used it as a piece of beautiful piece of furniture and a piece of art to me.
Always in a smoke free home. It's now in my garage which is dusty and it shows inside the drawers there is dust.
So I can tell you it's better than the pictures when you clean it up.
Also since this is all hand painted and with gold leaf the lacquer finish
shows a lot of reflection of my cars and it's not big scratches just reflections.
