Antique Red Lacquer Shanxi China Sideboard Cabinet ~ Geisha Girls in Garden
Condition and Description:
This cabinet shows heavy wear on the top. The graphics of the oriental motif on the doors has faded from the gold gilt but represent the timeless aging of the cabinet. The floral designs that adorn the sides and top still hold great detail but also embody the age of time. The doors and drawers work just as good as the day they were made. There seems to be a pin on other cabinets that hold the doors shut that this one lacks. There are a variant of other issues that the photos will show.

The overall beauty of this cabinet is something truly to admire. Brass hardware centers and surrounds the exquisite lacquer finish and the décor it holds.
Through our research, the cabinet appears to come from the Shanxi province in China. We cannot pinpoint the exact age of this particular cabinet.
This cabinet was loved but still has a lot of original character left.
