ANTIQUE CHINESE QING DYNASTY 1800's CHEST w/ 10 DRAWERS ~

Description

This is an Chinese antique cabinet from the late Qing Dynasty but most likely 19th century
. This
chest has ten drawers in four sizes and
made of solid zelkova elm wood with heavy hardware.  The metal hardware is hand forged iron - hinges, corner bracing, pulls latch and lock. All of this makes for a very heavy piece - 44 pounds in all.

he side handles are still very secure
and provides a secure way to transport this chest.  The drawers open and close smoothly. The triple hinged doors top swings open and closes easily. It comes with a key however the lock doesn't function well.
Along with a century plus of warm patina this chest remains in
fine
condition.
It measures 24" wide by 13'' deep by 17 3/4" tall (61 x 33 x 45 cm).  A very warm accent for your home or office. Please enjoy the enlarged pictures to get a full appreciation of the fine
